Friday, August 21, 1868 - "Thare is considerable travel on the road to day."

This is a fine day. 1868. The wind is North to day. I did not do much to day. I pitched off 1 load of oats to day. Mr. Wilburs folks are here all day. They stayed all night again. Bovina.
Every thing has been all quiet to day. 1868.
Thare is considerable travel on the road to day. I picked a few Blackburys to day in the fish-dam. 1868.

Hearts in summer time.
The summer time has come, love.
With perfume in the air;
Spring’s buds have burst to bloom, love,
In flowers rich and rare.
1868
